TRUSTe ending support for privacy policies on April 30th


We are in the process of removing the capability to purchase and renew the following policies:

TRUSTe Privacy Policy with Seal
TRUSTe Privacy Policy

Q: What is going to happen to my current TRUSTe Privacy Policy?
A: Your TRUSTe Privacy Policy will not be valid after April 30th. The TRUSTe policy and any TRUSTe references will be removed automatically from your website by TRUSTe on April 30th.

After this date, you will not be able to manage or purchase any of these services. In the meantime, you will still be able to manage your existing TRUSTe privacy policy.

Q: What do I need to do to prepare for the April 30th date?
A: TRUSTe will automatically remove your existing privacy policy from your website. However, if you�ve made any other TRUSTe references within your website, then you will need to manually remove them.

TRUSTe will permit you to continue to use the existing policy by removing any references to TRUSTe, provided that, prior to posting the policy on your website and on an ongoing basis, you verify that the content of the policy is appropriate for your practices and reflects any changes to your business and / or data privacy laws. eNom makes no representations regarding the appropriateness of the policy for your business and/or website.
